Tata Motors has introduced the Nexon CNG, with prices starting at ₹8.99 lakh. This launch features an industry-first: a turbocharged CNG model.
The CNG-powered Nexon comes in eight variants, with the top-tier Fearless + PS manual variant priced at ₹14.59 lakh. Following the brand’s CNG lineup, the Nexon iCNG is equipped with Tata’s dual-cylinder CNG kit. Higher-spec variants also include premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and a 360-degree camera.

Tata says that thanks to the dual-cylinder technology, the Nexon iCNG boasts of a 321-litre boot space, which is still 61 litres down on the petrol and diesel versions. The CNG tank can hold a water equivalent of 60 litres.
The Nexon CNG rivals the likes of the Maruti Fronx CNG (Rs 8.47-9.33 lakh), Toyota Taisor CNG (Rs 8.72 lakh) and the Maruti Brezza CNG (Rs 9.29-10.65 lakh).
The company has introduced its first turbocharged CNG powertrain, featuring a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that generates a maximum power of 100 PS and a peak torque of 170 Nm.
The car offers a boot space of 321 liters, thanks to its twin-cylinder technology. In terms of features, it includes a panoramic sunroof, leather ventilated seats, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system, along with a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster.
The premium Red Hot DARK edition of the Nexon.ev introduces a unique red-themed interior and exterior design, providing a stylish alternative. It also comes with new features, including an exclusive user interface for the infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, and a front trunk (frunk). The existing best-in-class features, such as Arcade.ev, Vehicle-to-Vehicle technology, and a phygital control panel, are still included, further enhancing the appeal of the Nexon.ev.
